Hi,

Just looking for some advice please as this is the first time my baby has been ill and it's got me worrying then second guessing myself etc

She's had a cold for about 6 day and has gradually been getting better. Then today she has woken up with the type of mucus you can hear when they breathe in and out. I've had her sat in the steam in the bathroom and that's helped a bit. She hasn't got a temperature and her coughing from the cold has reduced.

I'm thinking it's just the end of a cold, I know myself towards the end I always get more snotty/mucusy than in the beginning. But part of me is also thinking should I contact the drs I'm case I'm wrong and she has a chest infection or something.

Any thoughts please? First time mum and just not sure xx

If you’re worried just contact the doctor, it’s hard when you second guess yourself but in my experience docs are always happy to see a little baby and have a listen to double check xx
