Fussy toddler

Hello mommies,
My 1.7 year old is completely fussy when it comes to not getting her way. She gets so upset starts hitting whatever is there around and recently she has started to do push her head at the back of the high chair. It has really startled me. She also starts hitting anything in front of her.
I put some kind of thick fabric, so she must not get hurt, but she has started to do the same when she's even outside the high chair like sofa or bed. I'm worried about this behaviour and don't want her to hurt herself. Rest otherwise she's completely fine and does all the baby activities. This is my 2nd baby. My elder one is very obedient & we have never witnessed anything like this with the elder one.
So the 2nd one doing something like this has really worried me.
Just wanted to know if anyone has been in the same situation and how you normally handle situations like this.
Many thanks

She's not upset - she's angry and frustrated. Sometimes with herself because she can't do things yet or make herself understood, sometimes with you because you won't let her do what she wants to do.

Perfectly normal. Don't pander to it.
