Does it get better? Is there anything I can do to intervene? They're 10 & 11 (15 months apart) and it's been like this forever. It wears me out. There is no common ground where they are ever amicable; just constantly bickering and sniping at each other's throats.
I'd love some advice. Christmas will be tedious. Thanks

It used to really get me down and I used to try and help but after researching I came to the conclusion that as a mum of young adults I have to leave them to it and hope the thaw continues. But I've remembered that as a teenager I had physical fights with my brother who is 2 years younger, and very competitive. I remember thinking I needed my mum to pull us apart as neither of us were able to.
