Midwives

I often find myself thinking about the midwife that delivered my son. I was induced so we spent a long period of time just the three of us, and she was incredible.

Isn’t it strange that you have such an intimate experience with a complete stranger, they literally help you bring your child in to the world and then you never hear or see from them again!

A part of me would like to visit. Is that strange?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I guess not, if you’ve had a positive experience like that I could understand why you’d feel this way.

Personally I never want to see the idiot who almost killed me and my daughter ever again but that’s not most people’s experience thankfully.

@Nyz9213 I’m so sorry. The hospital I had mine at doesn’t have the best rep, but I didn’t know at the time. Fortunately my experience was ok.

Ah I’m sorry too. It’s a sore subject and I hijacked your nice thread with it. I’m glad you have such positive memories.
