I'm currently using a laundry service who provides clean nappies each week. Although I have been happy with this service - now ds is 8mo - I'm getting a bit put off with the reusables I'm using.
Basically - they only have one choice of outer and nappies and so the ones they give me are really thick. It means that I have trouble doing up ds poppers under his bum.
I am really tempted to go to disposables (although the eco friendly ones) - should I try a different range of naps or are the eco disps ok?

do they not have bigger sizes of wraps? or would it be worth getting a few wraps yourself?

Hi TracyK, you can get these little extension things that snap on to each side of the baby grow poppers to lengthen them and make them last longer if they fit in every way except in length. Can't for the life of me find them in Google. Will see if I can look later on, or someone else may know what I'm talking about!

Oh I remember seeing those extension thingies in a catalogue somewhere - must have a look again. Maybe GLTC??

it would work out cheaper long term to wash your own as well

I shall have a look at past threads for the best washable ones, I was thinking of Motherease or something. I think I shall mix and match as I am going back to work in the new year and struggle to get washings done just now. But I think even 50% of the time is better than 100% of the time with disps.
