Autism - Early intervention experiences

Hi all,

My son is currently showing some markers for autism so his HV is keeping an eye on him. He is only 15 months at the moment so they won't diagnose yet.

I'm really not looking for a diagnosis at this age, I would just love to know what I can do to help him.

Has anyone had any experiences with their toddler and early intervention? Has it helped?

Thanks!

We self referred to SALT and had first appointment at 22 months. Non verbal, stims, low understanding. We've been referred to the early years team but been told waits are very long. While we wait we are doing SALT sessions to establish communication skills
