Umbilical Cord Healing

Hey Guys,

New mumma here - I’m just wondering if this umbilical cord looks infected? Baby is 4 days old; it just started to come away today.

I will be ringing the midwives first thing tomorrow morning just wanting some opinions.

There is no pic.
I wouldn't worry too much if the midwife is coming to see you within the next few days.

@Chely thank you for your reply! My next appointment isn't until 10 days - just realised I wrote it wrong he is 5 days old. I have tried uploading the photo unfortunately due to being a new user it won't allow me to :(

The smell alerted me when DDs was infected.

If you're worried, just give your MW a ring.
