Made myself ill with stress this week as school as been closed due to covid and also no supply staff.

I look awful but I just panicked thinking we were headed into another lockdown. I have 2 young children (twins) and it's been really difficult as I am trying to establish a career as well (had to give up work due to childcare costs).

It's hard. One day at a time at the moment.

Anyone out there the same?

Hi op same feeling of stress with the pandemic, I have a toddler and a bump , reaaaally don't need anymore closures here.

Career is well and truly on the back burner.... every time I try to resurrect it something comes in the way (pandemic, pregnancy, poorly kiddo etc etc)

So hard! Just want to get life back to normal and move on to living an actual life. (That's not a comment on the mask/vaccine thing, just a comment as a mum with many plates spinning)

Yeah deffo, I feel the same. I feel stagnant. Every time I hear an announcement, I just feel like we're going to be at home with the kids again, we'll be trying to keep our heads above water again. My husband has a better job than me so it will be phoning in to work because of childcare. We have 2 young dc. My heart breaks for them too.

Its driving me insane. Uncertainty of it all. Rules changes. Rules. Restrictions. New variants. Face masks. Cases rising despite vaccines. Nothing seems to be working. Must be costing billions and billions.
