11 week old only sleeping on me!

DD is 11 weeks old and recently has not been settling in the evenings and will only not cry and fall asleep when she is being held, if I have her on me and move her once she's asleep then all hell breaks loose!

I am doing bottle every 3/4 hours and then bath bottle and bed in the evenings but I just can't seem to crack this!

any advice would be greatly appreciated I really don't know what to try!

My baby only stopped this when she got to a stone. I read there is something about a stone and the end of the fourth trimester that makes a difference developmentally so babies are more likely to tolerate being put down.

Until then we did shifts so one of us sat up awake with the baby. Also all the usual swaddling etc. You must have been working some magic if this is a new problem!

At 11 weeks they're still really new and it's difficult for them to be away from you. It doesn't last forever though!

Have you tried putting an old T-shirt that you've worn in her Moses? I wrapped mine round the mattress like a sheet.

Also warm up the mattress before with a hot water bottle or similar so it's not a cold transfer too.

You'll get there. It's a really difficult time x

She's 11.4lbs at the moment..so not too far off I weighed her today and also just realised she should be on 5/6oz per feed and I've been giving her 4/5oz.

It's literally been the last week or so up until that I could put her in the next to me no issues!
