When should my baby start laughing?

Hi, my DD is 12 weeks old and she smiles and coos and babbles all the time every day she’s a really happy baby but she hasn’t laughed yet, I have tried literally everything and nothing has worked, she doesn’t seem to be on the way to laughing at all and I don’t know what to do! Everyone else’s baby’s have laughed by now and my DD just hasn’t at all not even a hint of a laugh! When did everyone else’s baby’s start laughing? Thanks :)

I don’t remember with any of mine but don’t worry. She will do it in her own time.

I'd say mind started laughing somewhere around 12 - 14 weeks OP. Like yours there was lots of smiles and coos and babbling before then. I think those are clear signs that they're being responsive and sociable so nothing too much to be worried about! It is the BEST when they start laughing though. My LO absolutely cackles at her dad now. It makes my heart fuzzy!!

My baby was doing a little laugh by 3 months and then properly giggling by 4 months

I know it’s just hard to not to worry sometimes when all other babies are laughing and yours isn’t :( I think I’m more jealous because I can’t wait to hear her laugh I’m on edge waiting but nothing I seems to do makes her laugh, no that’s show or nothing, she’s all serious watching tv doesn’t smile at that but smiles and coos at people all the time but no sign of laughing 😩

My 16 week old DD smiles all the time, always very chatty. No giggles yet! I know she’ll do it in her own time, maybe I’m just not that funny ☹️😂
