Best pushchair honest opinions

Hi everyone,

For my first child we had the Venicci gusto. We did like the pushchair, little heavy to lift and didn’t fold overly small to fit in the boot of smaller cars. We had planned on using it again but just checked it and discovered the mice have completely wrecked it so we now have found ourselves in the position to be needing a new one.

Looking for recommendations on what everyone has found with different pushchairs.

We have briefly looked at the icandy lime online but other than that I don’t really know where else to start.

Thanks in advance x

Maclaren every time. Strong but not too heavy, folds easily & good for bringing on public transport.

I think it’s very lifestyle dependent. Is lightweight and compact your main criteria?

charley39 · 30/11/2021 19:48

@TyrannosaurusRights
We would love it to be able to fit into our smallest car which is a fiesta. Lightweight isn’t essential but would be nice. Just don’t want something too bulky.

Should probably add it’s likely to be a travel system we are after so 3 in 1 preferably.

What’s your budget?

WisestIsShe · 30/11/2021 19:58

Any of the baby jogger range. They are all well thought out, most single hand fold, mainly for almost flat.. I'm a childminder and it's the only kind I buy..I have 4! (City tour, city mini double, city mini GT and a city elite)

charley39 · 30/11/2021 20:19

@AliceW89 Budget is flexible would like no more than £800 but if it was for the right one we would go higher.

@WisestIsShe have never looked at the range will Google now!

Out and About little nipper. Awesome quality and longevity.

Caspianberg · 30/11/2021 20:24

If you don’t need off-road, babyzen. You can get as travel system with carrycot and car seat if you prefer

Starcaller · 30/11/2021 20:27

Loved our Out n About Nipper. I'd often see people struggling with their way more expensive prams to get over kerbs and stuff while I just ploughed on through Grin. Great for off-road too.

TheGlitterFairy · 01/12/2021 09:02

I have the uppababy vista which I’m very pleased with - good for “off road” as well as city life too. Would recommend.

Loved our uppababy vista, but would go for the Cruz next time. Not that there will be a next time!
