My son aint very good at sports and wasn’t playing properly or concentrating. He said miss told him off and then said another child told him she heared miss call him an idiot

Id do nothing purely because its hearsay.

How old is your son?

How do you know whether the other child was lying or not?

Had he done something foolish or dangerous, putting himself or others in danger? It's not a nice word but used in the correct meaning I wouldn't be fussed. I've told students their behaviour was idiotic when pushing and shoving in a science lab with the Bunsen on or hot kettles on the side, because it is and they could easily have hurt themselves or others.

So another little boy said ‘Miss says you’re an idiot?’

That sounds like kids just being silly/a bit mean. It’s more likely the child heard your child being told off for not paying attention and decided to push it/stir the pot up a bit. If you do bring it up please be aware that you’ve only for third hand information and don’t go in as if you have personally heard the teacher call your child an idiot.

Hmm sounds more like the kids thinks it and is saying it was the teacher.....

I wont go in i was just a bit upset
He has adhd
So finds concentrating & team sports difficult

Could be worse. The other child could have said to teacher

"Miss, Bhappeyboy just called you an idiot".

Hearsay

If he has adhd and finds it difficult the teacher should really be offering extra support rather than telling him off - he’s not trying to get it wrong.

On the idiot thing I would just tell him to ignore it. Sounds like his friend was just being daft.
