Tummy bug in 13 month old?

DS is 13 months. Dirty nappies have been majority pretty normal for months. Sunday night just before dinner he had a softer stool that was much paler in colour than normal (somewhere between korma and hummus), followed by one the same colour that was literally water before bed. Yesterday there were 2, again soft like hummus and somewhere between korma and hummus in colour. Passing lots of gas yesterday evening and it was VERY smelly, exactly like eggs, stools are very strong smelling too. One large vomit last night which isn’t like him at all - brought up his whole bedtime cup of milk and his dinner. This morning the gas seems to be gone but we’ve had one very large very loose pale stool again.

Seems absolutely fine in himself, wrecking the house and causing his usual chaos 😅 Wasn’t fussy for his dinner on Sunday night which is unlike him but have has no issues since. He’s not passing stool more regularly than normal which I thought he would be with a tummy bug 🤔 but the nappies are definitely not normal. Anyone able to shed any light? Does it sound like a bug? Some kind of intolerance? - he’s not had any new foods in a good few weeks!

Have called the GP this morning and the receptionist said I’ll be added to the list for a call from a GP but its likely to be tomorrow afternoon

Should mention too, he had his 12 month vaccinations on the 17th. Nurse said he could develop a rash in about 2 weeks but never mentioned any other side effects so I’m assuming they’re not linked 🤔

Have you recently moved him onto whole cow's milk to drink? My DD had pale poos when she first switched to whole milk from formula.

@Pandemicpregnancy Been on cows milk for about 4/5 weeks now and has been absolutely fine until this point.

My toddler has had stomach bugs which have just been one lot of sick and a few horrid nappies, but then has been off his food for a few days and then slowly got back to normal. In fact both stomach bugs he’s had, the actual sick/awful nappies have lasted 48 hours at most.

Sounds similar to us but obviously if you’ve rang the gp they’ll be your best bet :)

@KL92xxxx thanks 🙂 No more sick but the nappies are ongoing and he’s so so gassy! Spoke to the GP today and she says to give it 10 days and see if it clears on it’s own 😳 If not they’ll get a sample.
