Toddling shaking head jerkily when walking

Our toddler has started shaking her head quite jerkily sometimes when walking. She hurt her toenail recently and we wondered whether it hurts sometimes when she walks on it. Has anybody else seen their toddler shaking their head like that for this reason?

Not for that injury, no. But my toddler was doing this a couple of weeks ago when she had an ear infection
