has anyone tried those microfibre towels (pet blanket things) as a flat nappy?

I wondered if this would work. I see no reason why not. They are all brown too!

I have used microfibre cloths (about the size of a duster) as inserts in a nappy - much more absorbant and take up less space than terries).

I've used them as stuffers in a pocket nappy with great success. But I think it's not advised to have them in a layer next to the skin (can't remember quite why now).

Not heard of it being advised not to have microfibre next to the skin (not saying it's not true, just saying I haven't heard about it IYSWIM ).

I use 'value' quality microfibre dishcloths to boost my shaped nappies. I just lay them on top of the nappy and place a fleece liner on top - works a treat, a very cheap too!

I don't really know what you mean by the pet blanket type thing! I would be interested to know though as I am hoping to use washables when DD is born anyday now!
