Hi
Has anyone on here had children sit the Year 5 (9+) entrance exam at St Dunstans College in Catford. We have decided quite late in the day and now I am panicking about the amount of work my DD has to do for the assessment and there is little information out there as it is a non standard entry point. Thanks in advance.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hi
I have a child at St’ Dunstan’s who did the 9plus. I think it totally depends on the child - I did loads with my daughter for the 7 plus as she really needed the additional support but my son is quite academic and like you the 9 plus was a bit of a last minute decision. Have you looked at atom learning on line which is very good for for the maths? I do remember my son saying he was glad his mental maths was good for the exam which is something relatively easy to do.

Hi Baskins
Thank you for responding. Would you be ok if I PM you?
Thanks

Hi @Baskins and @phillyilly,
I'm in the same boat. We decided quite late in the day to try for Year 6 entry as we heard good things about St Dunstans and how the school supports dyslexics. We've just been told that our DS is almost 100% dyslexic and we are slightly panicking about the assessments. Any help will be very welcome
