Purple mark on baby ear

My lpittle boy is nearly 7 months. I noticed last week he had a purple mark/bruise in his ear then it went, but now there's another one. He does bash his toys now and I've seen him tug at his ears. I read this could be teething. But I have terrible health anxiety and a Google of bruises brings up the worst. Has anyone seen this in their baby? X
