Just here for a chat really but my 10.5m old now has 6 teeth. Four top. Two bottom. And another two on their way through.

She seems to have learnt she can "click" her teeth. Like a grinding...assuming it's her running her new top teeth over her bottom teeth.

She does it as she's drifting off to sleep..

Man it goes THROUGH me so so so so so much..it's awful noise.

Just wondered if anyone elses does/did this...

Eeergh

You're not alone! My 1 year old started this at that age but now he doesn't do it much if at all. It's awful to listen to 😬 She should stop eventually.

My 17 month old does this, especially when he’s lying face to face with me and I can hear it through his skull - gives me the shivers!
Tried giving him a teether toy but nope, he just wants to keep on clicking!

Baby DS grinds his teeth. It's unbearable.

My DD used to do this, it was a really horrible noise! We ignored it and she stopped though, presumably the novelty wore off.

DS is 18 months and still does it. He has since he got top and bottom teeth. And honestly my knee jerk reaction is to drop him if he does it when I'm holding him. I can't stand it but I've learnt the more I tell him off the more he does it. I think I've read somewhere that it's a sign they might be cutting more teeth

Urgh it's too much isn't it!! Glad I'm not the only one enduring this noise

My 12 month old does this for a few days when her new teeth cut through, I think it’s just a strange feeling to them that they all of a sudden have these new things in their mouth and they are playing with them. It usually passes quickly until she gets more! But yes it’s horrible to
Listen to!
