my 7 month old baby girl has had two ear infections in the past month. I took her to the doctors about four weeks ago as she had a lot of wax in her ears and was tugging at them, they tried looking down her ears but because there was so much wax they couldn't really tell and prescribed her amoxicillin for middle ear infection. It has now come back and she is being irritable and tugging at her ears, can't seem to settle. The wax has come back again. I've given her paracetamol (before I knew it was related to her ears) and using a warm compress now.
Has other mums had a similar issue and what has happened next after antibiotics haven't worked? Any home remedies? It's the weekend now and surgeries not back open til Monday and live in a town so walk in centres are about 6-7 hours wait.
