Are diffusers safe for babies

just wondering my LG isn’t the best sleeper we’ve definitely been through/ still going through the 4mo regression. The last couple of days have been particularly awful as she’s also had a cold. Wednesday night I think we got 2hrs sleep all night. Then yesterday a friend recommended a calpol plug in diffuser so we tried that and honestly were still in shock now she slept amazing! She woke at 2am (she’s hasn’t slept past midnight for approx 10 weeks now) had a bottle then straight bk down until 6:30am! Going to use plug in again tonight to see if that’s what’s helped as she’s still suffering with her cold but I’m wondering if it’s safe to purchase a diffuser and use baby safe oil maybe put it on an hour or so before bed then turn it off. I’m just struggling to find out if they’re safe for babies. Conflicting info online seems to say it’s dangerous if ingested obv that will not nhapoen! Does anyone use one? TIA

LG will be 5mo on 1st Dec

I wouldn’t personally use extra oil than the calpol, you can get diffusers that just add extra humidity to the air and that would be fine. The calpol plug ins are magic!
