how do you wash yours? I intend to dry pail. I thought I would put the mesh in the machine and then rinse and wipe the bucket with washing up liquid and hot water in the bath. could then leave damp cloth in the bottom of bucket with a couple of drops of tea tree on. will that be ok on my wraps?

going in to be induced tomorrow, first baby. Intend to use cloth as soon as we're home if they don't come up too far for his/her cord! otherwise is disposable until it falls off. Thinking the velcro on the wrap might stop us folding the front down?? what did others find with cloth and umbilical cords? wish me luck!

Hello
Good Luck. Your plan for your bucket is exactly what I would did except i didn't bother with the teatree cloth. DD1 wasn't in cloth till 4 mths, but dd2 went in cloth at a few days. I did wait till her stump fell off (eary at 4 days) though. I had kissaluv nappies that folded down to protect the stump but the wrap worried me so we waited. HTH. Have fun. Their big cloth bums are so cute.

Oh sorry washing....I prewashed mine with nappy soak (not nappisan) then did normal wash at 60 degrees with non bio powder. HTH.
