So my LG has had an ever lasting ear infection of 17 weeks !
No anti biotic would help and then all of a sudden nothing !
Then 4 weeks later this happens ! A burst ear drum with everything leaking out.!!
Has anyone had this before ?
We have an ent apt in 4 weeks

And someone from ent seen us at the hospital as I thought her brain was leaking 😂
Said that can't see much because of infection and that it's most likely not been treated properly as it's an inner ear infection !

So has anyone had this before and can give ANY KIND of advice ?
I'm worried about her hearing although she can her a crisp packet open in the next street 😂

And you are not a bad mother at all. We didn't realise she has all thus going on until 6 months and I realised she must have suffered before.
Once she was old enough to tell me her ears hurt it was helpful. But also heartbreaking. I would sit cuddling her all night watching TV in my bed counting down until next dose of nurofen / calpol. I feel for you x

Thank you all
For your messages

Yeah they swabbed it but as it's Friday gave us amox to tide over for the weekend.. as usual couldn't see in the ear because of the fluid ... so will give correct soon as they come back ...
I'm just so worried they are fobbing me off it's been since June we've had almost a constant leak 😢
I said about pushing forward ent but she said the chances of a cancellation are slim because people have Waited so long which I suppose is true. I just hope it's not leaking when we go as then what's the point !

I just feel like I'm not doing enough but at the same time what else can I do untill this apt
I really hope they suggest grommets or something to help :(
