Children at school

I have 4 children all at the same primary school in different years but they all say they never see each other at play time or lunch time? They say they don’t see each other at all until they are collected at home time. Is this normal? Do you children see each other at school?

Only from a distance. Never interact.

Especially with bubble systems it’s normal.

And it’s good for them. Means they all have their own separate friendship groups. They can play together at home

My children actively avoid each other :)

I've got twins so in the same class but EYF, KS 1 and 2 are all separate at playtime and they're staggered.

How big is the school?

We are on school 4 now, and the only time they've really interacted was when they were at the school with less than 100 children with one playground and a lot of year group mixing... plus they were obviously on the same school bus.

Very big, 700 children, seems it’s normal then I was speaking to someone and they said it was “very strange” that they don’t see each other.

I don't think my children wanted to see each other. They all had their own friends.
