Weaning off bottle

Hi All,

I'm struggling a bit and after some advice and tips!

My daughter is 13months and I'm trying to wean her off the bottle and formula. We are now on 2 bottles of formula that she is quite reliant on!

I want to start trying to get her off the bottle to start.

I've tried the sippy cup but it usually gets flung right back at me. And a straw non spill bottle but she is really struggling with the straw and can't use it.

There are sooo many bottles out there and I have no clue. Any recommendations in between the sippy cup and straw bottle?

I would start with a lidded free flow cup with a small amount of cows milk and offer it alongside a snack during the day (while keeping the bottles at other times). Maybe start giving cows milk in one of the bottles too if she takes it ok

Thanks @dementedpixie so I'm not completely off then!

I use the tommee tippee free flow sippy cup for all snacks and meals. I give cows milk with meals and water with snacks (as she doesn't drink much of the cows milk and want her to have enough fluid).

I think the next step is mixing some cows milk with the bottles

I didn't mix cows and formula milk and just gave a full bottle of cows milk. I didn't do it all at once though with both bottles; just did one at a time
