Sit-down party games for a 9 year old?

Having a small party for a 9 year old with just a few of her friends. My place is small, so I'm after some ideas for games that can be played sitting down on the floor to avoid absolute carnage (a bit of carnage is going to be unavoidable). Party will be for a couple of hours, so any estimates on game times would be appreciated too. Thanks!

Twister - not sitting down, but no running around either.

A craft activity; something they can take home or eat.
