Mine have always had very pale poo when they've had a tummy bug. So be on the guard for vomit to follow soon.

It was a solid poop thought, but she did have a vomit bug this time last week x

Concerning pale is usually chalky white. If it doesn't go back within a week maybe see the dr.

I think this is normal. All my kids have had yellow poop at different times. I’d give it a week and see GP if not back to or al then

TheVolturi · 13/11/2021 15:28

It can also be pale following a tummy bug so I would expect it will clear up soon.

My dd2 had pale coloured poo for a week after a tummy bug recently op she was fine xx

I spoke to the doctor after very pale poo from my toddler following a tummy bug, even though the loo was solid. Apparently it’s bile which makes the poo dark brown, and when the food is pushed through too quickly due to a bug not enough bile goes in so it ends up pale coloured. My daughter had it for a few days after the bug cleared but then was fine.

Ah makes sense, she was vomiting this time last week. Thought it would have cleared by now? She was on iron supplements that we stopped due to her being sick, they probably masked the colour.

Will see if it continues and call GP Monday probably xx

My DD had a spell of pale yellow poo but the gp said it is common and if they are fine in themselves it's not an issue. As grim as it sounds take a photo to show the gp as it is hard to compare to various charts etc online. I actually posted a pic on here a few years ago because of this haha!

Hey guys, not been on here before. But I'm a little worried about my daughter who is 2 and had a clay like poo. For about 3 days and like an explosion! Its a bank holiday ans docs are shut. Thanks in advance.
