Milk feeds

My daughter is 8 months and she has at least 4 meals a day and bottles of formula. The number of bottles vary as the days pass.
I'm not sure if I should be gradually dropping a milk feed so I've gone for some advice
Thank you xx

I think it definitely varies for each baby. At 8 months my son was having 3 milk feeds (morning, after lunch and before bed) and breakfast, lunch and a small dinner as I'd just introduced this meal at this age. But with weaning, babies develop differently.
Some take to it easily and others take a bit longer to get used to eating and meal times, etc. Try to be guided by your daughter and don't get disheartened if she doesn't want a meal or bottle. If she consistently doesn't want a bottle at a specific time that might be an indicator to drop the bottle.

As long as she's getting all that she needs nutrition wise on average, it'll be fine Smile

It varies from baby to baby. Mine is more of a “snacked” type than actual meal eater and I’m not stressed at all.
For reference he’s just turned 9m and having 5 bottles in 24hrs. Each bottle 5oz on average.
