14 month old nappy changes after moving to cows milk

Hi

I have recently weaned my 14 month old from formula to cows milk. I done this a few weeks ago and went straight from formula to cows milk and she took to it right away but she developed really bad nappy rash which is something she’s never had so I put it down to the change and put her back to formula for a couple of weeks. Her rash cleared in a couple of days when she went back to formula.

I started again last week but weaned her this time by mixing cows milk and formula and everything seemed to be going well. She’s now been on cows milk fully for the last 4 days but yesterday she woke up again with nappy rash (not as bad as the last time) and quite runny poo with mucus in it.

Could this be an intolerance? I have gave her cows milk since 6months in things I have cooked for her etc and in cereal and she’s been absolutely fine and she also eats yoghurts and cheese etc and is fine so it’s a bit strange.

Just looking for any similar stories and to see if it eventually got better or should I stop and make a GP appointment?

Thanks
