At what age did you stop taking your DC to santas grotto?

Just that really, at what age is too old for a visit to santa? obviously I suppose it depends on the child as they develop and mature and stop believing at different rates. but just wondering at what ages people stopped taking their dc's mine are ages 9&12.

I am hoping to take them for atleast one last visit before they become too old. but I don't think my 12 year old will be to keen.

I’ve been wandering if they will be on this year? I’m still taking my oldest who is 10 if they are but it’s because I also have a 4 year old otherwise I wouldn’t take just her

Our 6 year olds aren't bothered about going to see santa this year. We last went in 2019 eldest wasn't interested at all (almost 14 then), the year before she did sit for pictures with santa but wouldn't have gone if not for younger siblings.

@TurnUpTurnip I know a few are still not going ahead again this year in my area but others are going ahead just as they were pre covid and already booked up. so not sure on the rules this year.

8&10yo going on Santa train this year. Weve mentioned its the last time though (but will go on the Post Christmas version instead.

DS 10 just didn't want to queue up when he was 8, it was very boring for a child of that age with ADHD. He still believes, so I'll see if he wants to this year. As he's in year 6, I'll be telling him the horrible truth over the summer holidays.
