Bring a bottle?

My kids started at a new primary school this year. They are having a non uniform day this week and payment for this is "bring a bottle " for the Xmas fair tombola. So I feel a bit silly asking but do they expect a bottle of wine or what? Coca Cola?! I've never been asked to do this by a school before!

Our school did this. We got everything from champers to bubble bath!

It's a bottle of anything. Can be drink or toiletry or even condiment

When it’s happened where I worked it’s been a bottle of anything - usually winds up a mixture of wine, soft drinks and shower gel.
