Dressing nearly 2-yr old with a leg cast

Any super tips if your little one has had to be in plaster? Toddler has a broken lower leg so is in a cast up to her mid thigh until late November. We're in Scotland so keen to find a solution for covering legs. Wondering if blade and rose leggings would stretch over? Thanks for any advice!

You could always try leg warmers?

I've never tried Blade & Rose so can't comment on thickness but I find the Jojo Maman ones incredibly tight.

Buy some cheap leggings and cut the relevant leg off to shorts length.

Hmm I think anything tight like leggings is going to be tough to get over the cast. I’d look for baggy trousers like joggers or stretchy harem pants. You might have to size up and roll or cut off any extra length.

Already on the legwarmers, and had figured a trip out for some cheapy trackies might be called for, to modify. Thanks for suggestions so far!
