Sleep advice

My baby is 5 weeks old and I'm really struggling with his night sleeping. I can't cope with it for much longer as I'm absolutely exhausted. During the day if we go out in the car he will sleep brilliantly in his car seat or if I take him out on a walk in his pram but at night it's a different story. After a bottle at night and during the night I usually have to hold him to sleep for 20 mins or so which by that point I'm struggling to stay awake. If I put him straight in there he will cry is squirm around non stop. He woke up at 3 am so I have him a bottle, held him, put him back in his crib and then he shortly woke up flapping about and making loud noises. He has refused to sleep ever since. I've tried again putting him back in the crib to see if we can nap but again he's just kicking his arms and legs about for about 40 mins. I'm at my wits end. DP works away so I'm dealing with this alone and i'm really struggling with it, I just want to bloody sleep. He just will never go back to sleep after the 3am bottle and it's just not sustainable. What can I do? I've tried a dummy sometimes he will take it others he refuses, it doesn't necessarily help him sleep when he does take it though. How he js still wide awake js beyond me.
