Toddler injury

My sweet little girl had an accident 3 month ago, which left 2 little 1cm scar on her face.

Scars weren't stitched or glued at the Er so they are a bit wider than should be.

We are using mederma and silicone gel recommended by doctor.

Just wondering if anyones little one have a scar on their face ( which were not stitched m, glued) and how long did that take the scar to fade?

We're your children ever self conscious about it?

Thank you!

How long ago was it? Looks like it will almost certainly fade more and may disappear over time.

Sorry! Didn’t read properly! 3 months isn’t long. Keep taking photos each month and you’ll probably notice it fading

Thank you. Her scars were very deep, but weren't stitched due to high risk of infection :(

It is still pretty red and a little indented by her eye.

However I am thankful as it looks much better than it was...but still feel a little bad about it.
