Can anyone give me any advice to help with croup? My DD (24mo) came down with in 2 nights ago and was given a dose of steroids to help her yesterday. Her cough has got slightly better in that it doesn't sound like barking anymore and now more a horrible chesty cough. I've propped the end of her cot up, have a humidifier on while she sleeps but she is still waking herself up every 30 mins with coughing. I've tried giving her cough medicine and some ibuprofen/calpol because her cough sounds so sore but nothing seems to help her. She is so tired and I have a cold myself and we are both really struggling with the lack of sleep. Im finding it really hard and honestly want to cry and curl up in a ball.
