Heavy Snack Ideas?

DC1stTimeMummy · 07/11/2021 19:32

Hello all,

My 15 month old toddler is having his nap around 11:45am & he is having an early lunch around 11am due to getting too tired if I give this later.

When he wakes from his nap (I aim for a 2 hour nap), I will give him a snack.

Can anyone suggest any heavy snack ideas (either already made or quick to make) as my little one would have had his lunch around 11am & dinner isn't until 5pm?

Thank you!

It all depends what you give for lunch, some ideas:

  • Cheese/peanut butter/ avocado on toast
  • Egg muffins with a variety of veg fillings
  • Sandwich/bagel (having given soup or leftovers for lunch0
  • Snack plate with flapjack/malt loaf/crackers, cheese/boiled egg/cooked chicken, vegetable sticks and some fruit
