My daughter has just turned one, she likes her sleep usually but her preference is to co sleep, we've worked hard over the last few months to get her to sleep in her cot and up until a few weeks ago, she would go to sleep in her cot, she might have one wake up in the evening and we'd manage to resettle her in the cot (shhing and stroking her back) and then she would wake around 4am and come back to bed with us until 7.30am
Basically in the last two weeks I can't even get her to go in the cot, she absolutely screams, after hours of trying to settle her I cave and bring her into our room where she stops crying but is wide awake until around 2am just basically laying down but wriggling around.
I have tried controlled crying etc but she just gets beside herself, throwing herself around and bumping her head!
Help!
