hello

1st day potty training was brilliant - he did really well only 1 accident and enjoyed using potty. 2nd day he has had 4 accidents 3 wees and 1 poop. I have asked him so many times abut sitting on potty and going for wee but he either does not want to or when sits on it will only stay for 1 min max and gets bored. I have felt so frustrated today. i have been dreading potty training . he is 3 in march. what am i doing wrong - please help. thank you!!

Hiya.My DS is just 3 since last week and not toilet trained yet!!! I tried him around july/august but it was complete disaster...first day was good, second day terrible and 3rd day i gave up as i was heavily pregnant and getting very frustrated. I decided it was doing neither of us any good.
Little DD was born mid sept and i feel he had enough adjusting to do so i have left well alone for the moment.
I have ear marked the 27th dec to start trying again as DH will be on hols for a week and it will give me the time to concentrate on the job at hand.I dont think it will be easy as he doesnt mind being wet or dirty......I'm told boys are that bit more difficult to train!!!!

hello TOD

Day 3 was better only 1 accident on an outing.
day 4 no accidents so far and he wanted to do a poo in a nappy and brought it to me to put on him but i put him on the potty which i think scared him a bit but a really praised him and got excited about it so will be interesting to see what happens next time.

Think it will take a while with ups and downs. I have been giving him a little bit of chocolate or biscuit as reward after each wee etc. what can i give that is healthier but still tasty and a treat? thank you
