Dd is nearly 4 and I used Motherease One Size with her and had no problems. Our local council are now offering cash back (spend £50 and get £30 back) so it makes sense to use it as I never felt I had enough nappies with dd and was constantly washing, plus I'll need some new wraps.

So with £50 to spend what would the advice be? Are MEOS ok for newborns (only started when dd was about 6 mo)? Or have things progressed in 4 years??!! Should I just buy a few more nappies and stock up on wraps with my voucher? Baby is due in Feb so no great rush!
Any advice would be much appreciated. TIA

MEOS are fine for a newborn but could be bulky id you have a small baby. I would maybe buy some XS sandy's to use in the early days as these are lovely, soft and a great fit for newborns

I have recently got some bambinex bamboo and teddy nappies and absolutely love them both. That said I did love sandys on my newborns, deal with explosive poo well too!

Ive heard a lot of recommendations for bamboo Little Lambs! I personally used pocket nappies on mine such as minkis and fuzzis but others think they arent as secure as 2 part systems. They are definitely more secure than disposables though.

DS is 4 and things have moved on amazingly in 4 years.

Some other nappies I would look at are:

I only use my bamboo little lambs at night as they are rather bulky and take an age to dry compared with other bamboo nappies I've had. That said they are lovely and soft (and thick - so lots of padding).

If you want to go for a newborn nappy (just in case you find the MEOS too bulky then XS or Small Sandys, Kissaluvs and Bimbles are all very popular - kissaluvs are apparently not too good if you think your baby might be long (not so high in the rise). Bimbles are truely fab for newborns but won't fit for long (up to 15lb apparently but many find that a bit optomisitc).

You could always just stick with terries for the first few weeks instead -that would leave you some funds to spend on the new MEOS Bamboo nappies (which are lovely and will seem so silky compared with your cotton ones)

Not a fan of MEOS myself, but if you got on well with them before then maybe you should stick with what you know + the new bamboo version
