2yo's cold going on 5+ weeks - should I take her to the GP?

My 2yo has had a chronic cold now for 5+ weeks. She keeps having days where I think she is getting better and then she is back to feeling terrible for a few days. Her nose has been streaming for a week now and I'm just a bit worried because it's gone on for so long. Her snot is also slightly yellowish which my mum said could be a sign of infection. I've not taken her to the GP so far because she's not been outright ill with it meaning when she's been feeling poorly she will sit on my knee and watch TV but always seems to be in a good mood, eating and drinking well, sleep has been a bit disturbed but generally she is going about as normal playing with her toys and happy to go to the park etc. I've been putting vicks on her pj's for nap/night, used the calpol plug in, calpol/ibuprofen on the odd occasion. I tried a saline nose spray that a friend recommended but I think it made her feel worse so only used it once.

WWYD? Should I call the GP?
