Nursery lunches

My dd (2) has been at nursery for a year and for the past 10 months has been having a cooked meals there provided by an outside company hired by the nursery. We didn’t want to put her onto nursery lunches but felt pressured into doing so. However, they seem to have changed supplier and now my dd is having really bad stomach problems so we want to change her back onto a packed lunch. Has anybody changed from nursery lunches to packed lunches and have any tips on how to make sure she will eat her lunch? As the reason we felt pressured is because she was apparently the only one that was having a packed lunch and she got upset because she wasn’t having what all of the other children were eating

Hi op. Didn't want to read and run but I've never heard of packed lunches in nursery tbh. My children have multiple food allergies and so I provide some but they still try to have the same meals

We’re in a private nursery and during the first wave packed lunches were encouraged but now that the catering company are opened again a lot of children switched to nursery meals although a small few still take a packed lunch as the lunches aren’t included in the fees.

If you're worried about her having the same, can you get the menu and send your own versions of that food and include a plate and cutlery
