7 month old waking every hour

Advice needed!

My 7 month old has never been a great sleeper unless she's in my arms. Overnight she used to wake every two hours and her day naps, when not being held, were around half an hour. Not great but we were managing.

The last few weeks she's been waking at night every 45 min to an hour. She wakes regularly at four and is up for hours. Day naps can be ten min, I resettle, then another ten or so. Co-sleeping makes no difference as she doesn't seem to enjoy.

I'm losing the plot, please help!

How does she fall asleep? Is she fed or rocked to sleep? If so then this will be the problem. I also had this problem until I finally gave in and did sleep training. I know it's not for everyone but I was losing the will to live and figured he needed restful, quality sleep just as much as I did Smile

Sorry no advice but I’m in exactly the same boat so I can empathise! My nearly 7 month old DS falls to sleep independently now but nearly every wake up needs to be BF back to sleep and is wide awake at 4 and takes an age to go back to sleep! I know he still can’t link his sleep cycles as every nap he wakes at 30-45mins but if I keep my hand on him he will normally stay asleep for just over an hour and used to wake every 2 hours at night but recently has been every 45mins/hour. We have tried him in his own room to see if we were disturbing him but he woke roughly at the same times. Didn’t want to do sleep training but I’m utterly exhausted!

Does she have any teething symptoms e.g. ear tugging, chewing, drooling? Is she hungry every time she wakes up? Are you sure she’s not too hot or too cold?
