washable sanpro and cotton hankies?

Dont use cotton hankies partly because I kept losing them and too expensive etc!

Washable sanpro is fantastic though. I have really easy periods now and dont dread them at all. Wish I had changed years ago. Some cloth pads are thinner then disposables. Wee Notions are good but better I think are velour ones from www.homemademama.com. They dont take long to arrive here and are very comfy and slim!

ohmy, it was like being new to cloth nappies all over again - just bought 6 randome ones from weenotions lol! good job im on the wine tonight!

Oooh Mumfun - I hinted to dh that I'd like some homemademama pads...not sure that's what he's got me though.

When I ordered my Weenotions they also made me a couple of fleece bags to store them in when I'm out (after they've been used iyswim) for £1.

i use muslin squares for hankies. christ, with 3 of the snotty little buggers a hankie would be full in no time (bleurgh)

have a mooncup, but i dont really bleed much at all anymore (mirena) so is a lonely unloved mooncup... i do have one sanpro thingy... but am now off to investigate recommended ones (spendaholic)

ROFL at 'fairy hammocks'!!!

NappiesGaloriaInExcelsis · 12/12/2007 22:42

am underwhelmed with sanpro products on offer ( not surprisingly really, what was i expecting? excitement?)

susiecutiemincepies · 12/12/2007 22:45

Mooncup... and erm, have to say, all my clothes currently also have slime on the shoulder, knee height, and most of our chairs and leather sofa do too... perhaps I ought to invest in some hankies!

Have to say, the muslins we had when Dd was teeny, are fantastic to have draped all around, handy for the number 11's that frequent her top lip

Did you see all the different toppings and fillings on weenotions NappiesGalore?!?!? HOW can you be underwhelmed?? I have a pirate one

NappiesGaloriaInExcelsis · 12/12/2007 23:23

i have to say, i was tempted by the pirate one

curlywurlycremeegg · 14/12/2007 09:10

oh no, just breastfeed for ages then when I get my periods back get preg asap

as for tissues, well tend to use washable wipes for snotty noses for LO's but do buy tissues for DS1 and us, just compost them when used

Nappyhatessantazone · 14/12/2007 21:47

pmsl curly - but i can see flaws in your plan.... by the time menaopause hits you will have bags so dark under your eyes you will be mistaken for a black and white endangered species originating from china!
