I got my first results back last night. I got 80%. And the tutor's comments were very detailed and intensive - and she thinks one of the pieces is publishable! (It's a creative writing course.)

I'm a lively mix of and .

Well done

I don't know what an eTMA is, frankly, but I'm very pleased for you

Oh, eTMA is an OU thing - it's basically an assignment - electronic Tutor-Marked Assignment, I think.

Are you doing A215? Well done.

I am I got 70%

Come dancing tonight and we'll celebrate. Wessex House remember? DaddyJ and I will buy you a drink to toast your grade!

A174. I might do A215 next year, but A174 is enough for me at the moment.

Can't do dancing tonight, am booked, quiet pub night. Going proper dancing on Saturday.

What course are you doing, more literature?

I'm doing A215 and in Feb starting the next French course.

The literature course that I wanted to do started the day after the last one finished (they'd moved the dates) and so there was no time to even begin the reading. So I'm going to do it next year.

NotQuiteCockney · 13/12/2007 09:50

Ah, fair enough. What's A215 like? I wavered between it an A174, but wanted to focus on fiction, rather than all creative writing, and thought a lighter course was a better intro. (Oh, and it started later, which was easier for me.)

It's pretty good. Have done one eTMA and the next one is due in January. Not too hard at present but it's all subjective isn't it? Have the hope the tutor continues to like my style!
