When you don't like your child's friends Mum?!

My 7 year old Son has become friends with a boy in his class who can be sweet but often gets very angry and swears. But I can't stand this boys Mum, what did I do?! She is rude, will sometimes say hello but more often blank me. She swore in front of the kids at this boys birthday party and just generally not my type of person at all.

I don't want to be selfish and stop my sons friendship, but not keen on it either. So awkward!

You both don't need to be best friends too.
Interact if your in the same company, party etc.
Dropping/picking DS up.
Your over thinking you don't need a friendship with her just be civil.

Just be civil? You don't need to be besties.

Yep I am overthinking it 😆

Just be nice so you can make arrangements. You don't have to be friends.

You don’t have to be friends with them? I’m not friends with any of my children’s friends mums! It’s not compulsory, I never see any of their friends mums tbh.
