Finding bodysuits/vests for 2 year old

I'm really struggling to find bodysuits/vests for my 2 year old. She's growing out of her 18-24 ones.
Is it just assumed that she'd be wearing knickers now? She's not potty trained yet.
Or just a nappy underneath her clothes?
Am I in the minority here?

Nappy underneath clothes.

Fundays12 · 01/11/2021 09:52

You don’t really get body suits for age 2 plus as many are potty trained around then but you can vet vests which are pretty warm. I bought some aged 2 to 3 in M&S last week.

H&M is the only place I can get bigger sized vests

I used to get them from John Lewis. Though as PPs said, after a while you stop bothering

DontKnowMyOwnName · 01/11/2021 09:54

You get 2-3 vests with poppers. They're everywhere? Try Primark or M&S for example but they really do sell them everywhere.

If you don't want her in bodysuits anymore it's perfectly ok to just have a nappy under her clothes. Just whatever you'd rather.

I preferred mine in a bodysuit with a nappy, and my kids were massive so I even found size 3-4 bodysuits for my son (M&S online). Neither of mine potty trained until they were just over 3 so needed nappies until they were quite big.

H+M do the size that you need. I have to get age 2-3 year ones for my very large 19mo!

Findahouse21 · 01/11/2021 10:07

Next do poppered vests in 2-3 but they are enormous so you may even be okay with a size down. Dd had vest tops from 2 though, still kept her warm

Jenster03 · 01/11/2021 10:12

Thanks all.
Wouldn't mind some for extra warmth.
I'll probably just have her in just her nappy underneath otherwise.

M&S do them

They also have a range called Adaptive, which does them right up to age 16

Carters (I buy via Amazon), GAP, H&M, excellent. Lindex, John Lewis, are also good but a bit expensive.

DontKnowMyOwnName · 01/11/2021 10:25

How strange! To be fair I haven't bought any for a few years now but I definitely got some at Primark and M&S previously.

I'm having a similar issue with sized 4-5 tights. There's literally not a single pair in our entire town Confused it's totally weird!

I'm finding 2-3 clothes in general are really sparse everywhere, especially in the supermarkets.

Sainsbury's do vests aged 2-3.

John Lewis and M&S do them. We used them under clothes and also used footed sleepsuits for bed till just before potty training at 2.4 years so needed age 2-3 for a few months.
