For the last couple of days my little boy is really unsettled and will have screaming fits at around 5pm I do think he’s teething but not sure if this is the issue as it seems to only be at this time :S he does have hydrocephalus but if it was an issue with his shunt I’d think he would be unsettled through out the day too not just the evening :/

Have you tried him with Calpol @Mummyto4boys1122? Does it help at all?

It might be worth trying him with a dose, then if he's any better you know that he's been in pain/feeling unwell.

Google the witching hour.....

My 1st ds has hydrocephalus and a shunt to and it doesn't sound like it's that, if that is the only symptom, a failure would be though out the day or positional but if worried never hurts to give your neuro nurse a call. My 2ds is 6 months old and Christ the witching hour is real. Like pp suggest maybe try a does of calpol incase it is his teeth or he's having a developmental leap so a bit unsettled

This could be over tiredness built up throughout the day. What is baby's daytime nap routine?

I assume you've tried milk milk and more milk - which is the usual answer to witching hour crying.

He’s having mini naps through out the day 15 mins then he’s up he does this often, so could well be tiredness x
