Chicken pox around baby

My partners little girl has chicken box for the Third time apparently.
She had them last month and now her mum is saying she has them again.
We're due to have her this weekend but I'm worried as my partner and I have a 10 week old baby.
Will it be ok for her to be around him? Xx

From the NHS website: www.nhs.uk/conditions/chickenpox/
Do not be around pregnant women, newborn babies and people with a weakened immune system, as chickenpox can be dangerous for them

I didn't think you could get chicken pox 3 times but there are lots of other rashes that are similar and equally as contagious, including hand foot & mouth or impetigo, so i dont think its ok for her to be around the baby.

I agree with the previous post. Ten weeks is very young to be exposed to that kind of infection.

I would also question whether it is chicken pox but if it’s any kind of contagious rash, I wouldn’t be taking the risk!

No I think best not to.

This is what I've been saying but my partner thinks I'm being dramatic as he's saying that if my daughter (from a previous relationship) got chicken pox I wouldn't send her away so why shouldn't I let his daughter come over.
I just feel it's an unnecessary risk 😭
I feel the same that it's probably not chicken pox as surely she wouldn't get them twice in one month! But because he converses with her mum and I don't it's hard to get clear information!
She apparently came out in the spots on Tuesday so he's saying if she comes over Sunday it should be fine-- I'm just not so sure.
I stopped her coming over last month and he thinks I'm being unreasonable doing it again

I thought chicken pox was once and done?! Could be any of the other delightful childhood illness, they all have different incubation periods and advice on how long to isolate so he does need to find out what it is. Chicken pox is infectious till the blisters have fully scabbed over so I'd just insist on that tbh if he's not willing to actually find out what's wrong with his child.

Could it be hand foot and mouth? At first the spots can looks very similar to chicken pox. I certainly wouldn’t want a ten month old to come down with that.
