Tips needed - DD will ask for potty at home, but not at childminder

DD1 is now 2.5 and has been dry during the day since July. She uses a potty at home and toilet when out & about with me and will always ask to use it. However at the childminders she will not ask to use it and will just say "Don't need it" when prompted.
Childminder recently decided to stop using the potty and use the toilet instead...and this hasn't helped.
DD1 was originally holding back pooing there, then stopped drinking water and now doesn't like eating there.
She's happy the rest of the time and is with DD2 - but just seems to not want to ask the childminder. She then says she has a poorly tummy when she gets home and does a massive poo.....how can I let her see that it's okay to ask the childminder, like she does at home? Or should I just say to the childminder to continue prompting?? Any suggestions??

I can't claim to be an expert or anything, but can offer you my experiences.. I mind a little girl who has just potty-trained and we've been through similar-ish problems. A few weeks back, she wasn't telling me when she needed to go (kept having accidents, and storing her poo until she had her nap-time nappy on!) and would just say she didn't need to if I asked. I started being a bit more pro-active, ie saying "it's time tp do something on the potty now, lovey" and leading her to the bathroom, rather than asking her if she needed to go
This worked to an extent (little or no accidents) but she was still storing her poos (she was doing that at home too though). Her mum decided to try using Smarties as an incentive: 1 for a wee, 2 for a poo. This has been very successful; She had 2 poos in the toilet here today. I also heap on the praise of course
