Hi, looking for a bit of advice. I have a beautiful 5 week old son, but from day 1 I have felt there have been issues with his tummy and feeding.
He took bronchiolitis at 2 weeks old and was in hospital, so we put his issues down to the viral infection and have tried to give it time to settle.
He fights with his bottles, arches his back, mucous in dirty nappies (one day runny nappies, next day pushing with no result) and cries for at least a few hours a day and we can’t console him.
Last week I rang the doctor as he had cried for 6 hours the night previous and they prescribed nutramigen LGG. It solved some symptoms such as the poo but then caused an awful nappy rash and was still fighting with his bottles / in pain.
Doctor has now prescribed Aptamil Pepti instead.

Has anyone been through similar and the Pepti worked for their little one? How long did it take for them to adjust?
At my wits end and feel like my husband and I can’t enjoy this precious newborn stage as he constantly cries and seems in pain.

Any advice is so appreciated!
