Hi all, hoping someone can offer a good advise. My 4 week old has a wet cough (at least that’s what it sounds like). He is eating well, sleeping well, no fever, plenty of wet and dirty nappies. He does have a bit of a snotty nose too. I have a 2,5 yo who is in creche and currently has a cough and snotty nose too. I’m fairly chilled but I starting to think should I be worried? Would you bring him to a doctor at this stage?

Also forgot to say that the cough would be maybe 5 or 6 coughs and then he would sleep for 3 hours and then a few coughs again once he wakes etc. So it’s not super bad but it is there nonetheless

If I were concerned I'd call 111 for that one.

PCR test for them both. (Assuming there's no lower age limit for PCR's? Youngest I've done is a 18 month old)
